Pauanui & Tairua weddings
What's so special ?
Pauanui and Tairua on the Coromandel Peninsular, are ideal places for a beach-side wedding.
Pauanui has a 3 km long surf beach, with an adjoining grassed area that is lined, in parts, with shady Pohutukawa trees.
The surf and distant islands make a beautiful background. On the harbour-side there are wide, tree-lined grassed areas.
The outlook is across the boating activity to Tairua, and in the distance the Coromandel mountains.
Tairua also offers both harbour-side and surf beach settings and quieter picturesque bays in the area.
Venues for wedding receptions include Puka Lodge and the Lakes Resort as well as restaurants in both areas.
Pauanui and Tairua are linked by a short ferry ride and both are within an easy drive of Hot Water Beach (where you can dig to find warm springs in the sand), Cathedral Cove, Hahei, Whitianga and Whangamata, which are all prime tourist areas.

If you are making enquiries from overseas it is easy for us to be in email contact and once you are happy with what I can offer you, I can send you my kit of wording options and ideas so you can start planning your ceremony.
When you arrive in NZ we can meet and fine tune your ceremony. (see link to ceremonies for people who are overseas) I can offer advice and guidance about applying for your marriage licence, and can provide witnesses, flowers, a cake and ideas about the site for the ceremony and your celebrations afterwards.
