What do I offer ?
My qualifications as a Celebrant include
My Celebrant training at AUT in 1996, and my wide experience in performing a wealth of ceremonies since then.
I have trained as a Legal Executive and have a background in office administration. For many years I was a voluntary telephone counsellor, and I am a writer of family histories and a tutor and guide for those who want to write their own stories.
Membership of Celebrants Association of NZ (Inc) and regular sharing of ideas and up-skilling from our regular meetings.
Flexibility and openness to your ideas, including your own cultural input.
Ease with religious or non-religious input in your ceremony.
Creativity so your ceremony is unique, meaningful and dynamic. A wealth of options and ideas from other ceremonies.
I give my clients a comprehensive kit of ideas and resources to take away and peruse at leisure and usually find that they come up with wonderful ideas for their ceremony after reading this.
Availability at any time to liaise with you should you need further help or suggestions.
A public speaking manner that is clear and my voice projects well in a warm and personable way. The ceremony we have carefully crafted will be heard and appreciated by all your guests.
A smart and professional appearance which honours your occasion and ensures that I am in keeping with your dress code.
Experience in performing ceremonies in a diverse range of venues which range from homes, splendid beaches, by waterfalls, in candle-lit barns, cathedrals and tiny historic chapels, my courtyard garden and deck, restaurants and most of the dedicated function venues in the Auckland region.
My home and garden at Kohimarama are available as a venue for ceremonies for small gatherings and in our bay-side suburb there is a wealth of beach and headland sites of great panoramic beauty. Nearby are Mission Bay, St Heliers and Parnell with restaurants that are ideal for your celebration after the ceremony.
